VNW organized a chorus picnic last weekend. It was a wonderful way to celebrate being together again and sharing excitement about the future. We missed those who were unable to attend, and we hope to see all our members and guests on September13th!

We had pretty good turnout for our third post-Covid outdoor rehearsal last Monday night. It was warm but we were in the shade the whole time, and it was a wonderful feeling to ring some chords, welcome two newly-auditioned members to the fold, and meet a few friendly, talented guests.

Voices Northwest has had our first virtual rehearsal of the New Year. We worked on setting goals for polishing our skills at home and preparing for getting together again and ringing those barbershop chords. VNW is currently holding virtual rehearsals every Monday night beginning at 6:45pm. We begin as usual with physical and vocal warmups, then move on to learning our new music, singing against learning tracks, doing note checks, watching videos, and making sure there is time to chat and enjoy each other's company. We are so thrilled and delighted to announce that Voices Northwest finally has a new, larger, brighter, and better rehearsal venue! We are now located at North Creek Presbyterian Church, 621 164th St SE, Mill Creek, Washington. This is a hop, skip, and jump away from the Mill Creek Town Center where we have been performing every year for the town Christmas Tree Lighting. As we happily settle into our new home, we would like to remind women of all ages that we welcome guests at all of our regular rehearsals.
