We had a lovely time as usual performing for the enthusiastic residents of Chateau Pacific. We had three brand new members and one guest singing with us, as well as Fourcast Quartet.

VNW just had a blast with our foray into musical theater. In 'Treason Among the Seasons", Mother Nature is in distress because her daughters, Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall, have decided they are bored with their season and want to try another one. Did that actually happen? Yes, Voices Northwest got to sing on stage with Foreigner at the Tulalip Amphitheater. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are so proud and happy to have helped the band raise money for the Grammy Foundation. It's always fun to be a rock star for a day! It was a great night out in Everett at the second game of the season for the Aquasox! We sang the national anthem with pride and many stayed to watch the game with friends and family. This year, we all got an Aquasox cap!

We did it! We have just returned from our 2016 Regional Competition, and we had a blast! We came in 6th place, only 2 points behind the 5th place chorus, and improved 28 points from last year! We sang really well on stage and now have a lot of wonderful new memories to share. Now we must prepare for our big show in October, and start working on our skills so that we can do even better next year. VNW rocks!

What an incredible night! We are so happy that so many of our friends and fellow Sweet Adelines were able to come out and support us. Special thanks to Harmony Northwest, our sisters in song. Next step, contest! We are psyched and ready!

We enjoyed a surprise visit from the dynamic duo of Sandy and Tim Marron, just returned from a 700-plus score in their own region. What an awesome night, and such valuable tools to take to contest!

We just enjoyed a joint rehearsal with our Sisters in Song, Harmony Northwest. We had a great time singing a few songs together and then performing our contest packages for each other. Harmony Northwest will be joining us for a joint Friends and Family performance on the evening of May 2nd at the Marysville Opera House. You won't want to miss it!

VNW just got back from our annual retreat. Two days (and one night!) of singing, vocal exercises, singing, laughing, and more singing. Add a little choreography and a comedy show on Saturday night, and the weekend was complete. Spokane, here we come!!
