Another Friends and Family show has come and gone; it was a wonderful night of music with friends featuring Voices Northwest, Harmony Northwest, PrimeTime, Fourcast, and Zest. We all gathered on the risers at the end to sing "How We Sang Today". Now we are off to Spokane for competition; best of...more
We are worn out but happy after a night of coaching with Judy Pozsgay. Next stop, Friends and Family show. Come see us strut our stuff on April 10th at the PUD auditorium in Everett, 7:30pm!
Voices Northwest just concluded our annual retreat, this year at the Pilchuck Events Center in Marysville. Awesome location and we really solidified our contest package. We also enjoyed lots of fun activities and high-quality talent from our members. Here we are putting a jigsaw puzzle together...more
Voices Northwest had a very productive all-day rehearsal last weekend. We worked on a lot of choreography and tried to combine all that physical work with relaxed vocal production. Ready for Spokane and Regional Competition!
Wow, we had an awesome night! A new way to think about vocal production, new riser placements, and so many ringing chords and HSMs. (You have to come visit if you want to know what those are!) We are looking forward to seeing Sandy again next month.
Our Holiday Party this year was a blast....on some kazoos! It was a stellar performance.
We had a lovely time as usual performing for the enthusiastic residents of Chateau Pacific. We had three brand new members and one guest singing with us, as well as Fourcast Quartet.
VNW just had a blast with our foray into musical theater. In 'Treason Among the Seasons", Mother Nature is in distress because her daughters, Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall, have decided they are bored with their season and want to try another one. Don't miss our next big show in 2018,...more
Did that actually happen? Yes, Voices Northwest got to sing on stage with Foreigner at the Tulalip Amphitheater. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are so proud and happy to have helped the band raise money for the Grammy Foundation. It's always fun to be a rock star for a day! Photo...more
It was a great night out in Everett at the second game of the season for the Aquasox! We sang the national anthem with pride and many stayed to watch the game with friends and family. This year, we all got an Aquasox cap!
We did it! We have just returned from our 2016 Regional Competition, and we had a blast! We came in 6th place, only 2 points behind the 5th place chorus, and improved 28 points from last year! We sang really well on stage and now have a lot of wonderful new memories to share. Now we must prepare...more
What an incredible night! We are so happy that so many of our friends and fellow Sweet Adelines were able to come out and support us. Special thanks to Harmony Northwest, our sisters in song. Next step, contest! We are psyched and ready!
